Festivals and events are fully packed in the Boerne’s annual calendar. The Boerne Berges Fest happens every Father’s Day weekend where people get together to celebrate the city’s German heritage. The locals enjoy root beer drinking contest, bratwurst eating contest, a parade, egg toss, wheelbarrow races, Miss Berges Fest Pageant, and more.

For avid car fans, Boerne hosts two car shows every October: the All British Car Day and The Key to the Hills Rod Run.
